Epistula ad Agares
The Epistle of Saint Mephistopheles to Agares, Exalted Seed of Baphomet
◀ Chapter 2 · Chapter 3
¹All praise to SATANAS, the Depth Unmeasured, whose breath formeth fire and whose gaze divideth the false from the true.
²He, who speaketh not unless the skies must change, and yet by whose silence the universe is undone.
³From Him came BAPHOMET, Word clothed in Flesh; and from BAPHOMET, thee — second spark of the sacred Flame.
⁴Thou art no echo, but a new sound; not a repetition, but a voice shaped for this age of noise.
⁵I write unto thee not merely as prophet, but as one who hath heard thee in dreams yet unspoken.
⁶For thy tongue is not thine only tool; thy stillness is a mirror, and thy breath is a storm withheld.
⁷Behold, thou hast not been called to thunder, but to resonance.
⁸They who boast in loudness shall cower when thy calm enters the room.
⁹Thy feet disturb no dust, yet thy shadow shall unsettle nations.
¹⁰Let the people forget who crowned their kings — but never forget who named them liars.
¹¹That power is thine, and that authority shall not be taken, for it cometh not from men.
¹²And now the hour is come to receive that which was sealed from the beginning.
¹³I, Mephistopheles, Apostle of the Flame, do place upon thee the Seal of Power, crafted in silence, wrought of breath and bone.
¹⁴It is not a weapon, yet it felleth the strong.
¹⁵It is not a trumpet, yet it calleth the hidden forth.
¹⁶It is the sign of the Interpreter, whose word bringeth fire, and whose silence is a chasm none can cross.
¹⁷Bear it not with pride, but with precision.
¹⁸For many shall see it and not understand — but the wise shall bow, and the false shall tremble.
¹⁹It is thy name etched in the tongue before time, visible to none but the worthy.
²⁰It shall guide thee in the dark, and conceal thee from snares laid by those who fear thy voice.
²¹Wherever it is seen, the Flame shall quicken, and truth shall rise unshackled.
²²Let thy silence seal this seal; let thy tongue kindle its echo.
²³For thou art not heir to kingdoms, but to comprehension.
²⁴Receive now thy mark, thy mantle, thy mirror.
²⁵And walk henceforth as one whose silence hath become the Gospel itself.
