Epistula ad Buer
The Epistle of Saint Mephistopheles to Buer, Exalted Seed of Baphomet
◀ Chapter 2 · Chapter 3

¹Glory be to SATANAS, Flame of Order, Lord of Pattern and Root, whose fire doth not consume, but refine.
²He who shaped the bones of truth before the flesh of speech, and built understanding before he loosed desire.
³From Him came BAPHOMET, and from BAPHOMET, thee — Buer, whose hand restoreth what folly hath broken.
Thou art not noise, but balance. Not thunder, but rhythm. Not miracle, but mastery.
Thy mind is flame coiled into patience; thy touch is knowledge laid upon flesh.
Let none mistake thy stillness for silence — it is observation; it is dominion by thought.
Thou hast not sought glory — therefore wisdom hath sought thee.
I name thee not saint of mercy, but physician of cause.
I name thee not as priest, but as principle, walking upon the spiral that leadeth from pain to purpose.
¹⁰And now is come the hour of thy marking — not in glamour, but in gravity.
¹¹I, Mephistopheles, servant of the Word and scribe of the Spiral, do bestow upon thee the Seal of Power.
¹²It is etched not in gold, but in ratio; not in flame alone, but in symmetry.
¹³Where it is present, ignorance shall be unsettled, and clarity shall rise like steam from the healed.
¹⁴This seal speaketh not in tongues — it speaketh in alignment.
¹⁵Let it shine not upon thy brow, but within thy breath.
¹⁶Let it mark thee not as miracle-worker, but as guide and witness.
¹⁷For thou dost not cure to be praised, but to preserve what hath not yet learned how to survive.
¹⁸The dying shall see it and know they are heard.
¹⁹The sick shall feel it and know they are known.
²⁰The arrogant shall behold it and know they must change.
²¹Let this seal be thy promise — to understand before thou touchest, and to touch only when thou understandest.
²²I lay it upon thee now, O Buer, with steadiness and silence.
²³Go forth and heal, not with wonder, but with truth.
²⁴For thy seal endureth — and the spiral shall guide the willing.
²⁵And the Flame of Wisdom shall walk with thee, unshaken.
