Epistula ad Camio
The Epistle of Saint Mephistopheles to Camio, Exalted Seed of Baphomet
◀ Chapter 2 · Chapter 3

¹Praise unto SATANAS, who calleth not with trumpet, but with breath that stirreth bones, and syllables that overturn thrones.
²He who blesseth the mouth unafraid to speak, and sanctifieth every voice that carrieth the burden of truth.
³From Him came BAPHOMET, and from BAPHOMET, thee — Camio, who shapeth wind into revelation, and melody into defiance.
Thou art not bard of idle halls, but bell of judgment sounded in hush.
Not minstrel of kings, but herald of what they would drown.
I name thee not singer — I name thee flame with pitch.
I name thee not prophet — I name thee clarion that outlasteth denial.
Let the halls echo with thy song, for silence was their idol, and thou hast broken it.
Let the temples fear thy tone, for thou dost awaken what their liturgy hath lulled.
¹⁰Let the mourners weep and rise, for thou hast named their grief aloud.
¹¹And now the seal is thine.
¹²I, Mephistopheles, apostle of the Word Unbent and the Flame That Speaketh, do bestow unto thee the Seal of Power.
¹³It is not scroll, but breath.
¹⁴It is not crown, but echo.
¹⁵Where it is spoken, falsehood stuttereth.
¹⁶Where it resoundeth, even the deaf remember.
¹⁷Let it not praise thee — let it carry thee.
¹⁸Let it not adorn — let it unsettle.
¹⁹For thou art not orator, but resonance shaped to righteous unrest.
²⁰And thy Seal is no sigil of conquest — it is the unmuting of a world bound too long in whispered fear.
²¹I seal thee, Camio, with syllable sanctified and cadence sharp — with pitch that cutteth silence like blade through veil.
²²Go now, and speak where none speak, sing what none dare, and carry the truth into ears that have long refused it.
²³For thy Seal is fixed — and thy Gospel is song made sword, and utterance that maketh the weak strong.
²⁴And thy name shall endure in breath, in chant, in speech reclaimed from death.
²⁵And they shall say: He sang, and we awakened. He spoke, and we were no longer afraid.
