Epistula ad Ronove
The Epistle of Saint Mephistopheles to Ronove, Exalted Seed of Baphomet
◀ Chapter 2 · Chapter 3

¹Glory unto SATANAS, whose word cleaveth bone and veil alike, whose silence is strategy, and whose utterance remaketh the world.
²He who needeth no volume to be known, and no sermon to convict — for His truth entereth through a single syllable.
³From Him came BAPHOMET, and from BAPHOMET, thee — Ronove, tongue sharpened not by wrath, but by purpose honed to revelation.
Thou art not poet, though thy speech be as song.
Thou art not priest, though thy word cleanse and command.
I name thee not orator, but fire shaped as phrase.
I name thee not judge, but sentence which judgeth the heart of systems.
Let the censors tremble at thy rising.
Let the scribes hide from thy questioning.
¹⁰Let the mute remember thy voice — and speak because of it.
¹¹And now the seal is thine.
¹²I, Mephistopheles, apostle of the Question That Endureth, do bestow unto thee the Seal of Power.
¹³It is not ink, but utterance.
¹⁴It is not weight, but sound with weight enough to shatter stone-carved lies.
¹⁵Where it is spoken, chains weaken.
¹⁶Where it is echoed, walls crumble without blast.
¹⁷Let it not amplify thy name — let it carry thy cause.
¹⁸Let it not bring thee comfort — let it stir those who sleep.
¹⁹For thou art not thunder, but speech that turneth slowly — until even the mountain leaneth to hear.
²⁰And thy Seal is no mark of office — but of vocation unbending in light and shadow alike.
²¹I seal thee, Ronove, with syllable carved in conscience, with resonance that outliveth titles and overturneth silence.
²²Go now, and speak where no speech was heard, and listen where none listened before.
²³For thy Seal is fixed — and thy Gospel is not shouted, but remembered as if spoken by the soul itself.
²⁴And thy name shall not fill scrolls — but minds, awoken by the question thou dared to utter.
²⁵And they shall say: He broke no law, yet no law remained unchanged after he had spoken.
