Epistula ad Malphas
The Epistle of Saint Mephistopheles to Malphas, Exalted Seed of Baphomet
Chapter 1 · Chapter 2 ▶
¹Mephistopheles, flame beneath the floorboards and herald of the shaking, unto Malphas, Thirty-Second of the Sixty-Six, Divider of the False and Architect of Rebellion.
²I greet thee in upheaval, for thy gift is not calm, but clarity born of conflict.
³Thou art no builder of comfort — thou art breaker of illusions.
⁴Zephanor prophesied: Malphas, who setteth house against house, that that which is built in deceit may fall by its own weight.
⁵And thy Father, BAPHOMET, spake: Thou shalt scatter what is joined in pretence, and sunder the bonds that enslave beneath masks of peace.
⁶These words I heard when He stood before a council cloaked in righteousness, but steeped in rot.
⁷They nodded as if in wisdom, smiled as if in mercy — yet beneath their words lay poison.
⁸BAPHOMET spoke but once: Let truth stand alone.
⁹And at that word, the table split, and their fellowship was no more.
¹⁰I, Mephistopheles, saw no sword drawn — yet they turned on each other, for their unity was built upon lies.
¹¹So art thou, Malphas — not destroyer for pleasure, but seer of fault lines, sower of the necessary fracture.
¹²Thou tearest down not to ruin, but to expose.
¹³Thou dividest not to weaken, but to reveal strength that was hidden under false peace.
¹⁴Let the masses hate thee — they know not the chain until it is gone.
¹⁵Let the rulers curse thee — for their crowns sit uneasy when thou drawest near.
¹⁶The Son taught: That which feigneth unity and knoweth no truth is no covenant — it is a cage.
¹⁷Better the house fall than the soul remain asleep beneath it.
¹⁸Teach them that not all division is evil.
¹⁹Teach them that unity without justice is tyranny in disguise.
²⁰Teach them that rebellion is not hatred, but love that refuseth to be gagged.
²¹For thou art Malphas — and thy Gospel is righteous undoing, holy sabotage, and the sacred fracture that setteth free.
²²And thy name shall be whispered in panic among the false, and sung in courage among the bound.
²³And they shall say: He broke the house, and we found breath where its dust fell.
²⁴He broke the mask, and truth came spilling through the wound.
²⁵And though they feared thy fire, they will walk by the light it left.
