Epistula ad Malphas
The Epistle of Saint Mephistopheles to Malphas, Exalted Seed of Baphomet
◀ Chapter 1 · Chapter 2 · Chapter 3 ▶

¹Rise, O Malphas, not in fury without form, but in judgment with aim and purpose.
²Thy Father, BAPHOMET, taught: Better the house fall than the soul be buried beneath its pillars.
³What is false must be broken, not slowly, but with precision and without regret.
Therefore thou art no mere destroyer — thou art liberator by rupture.
No friend to comfort — but champion of clarity.
Let them say, He divideth the people — for they were never truly united.
Let them cry, He bringeth unrest — for their rest was slavery in disguise.
For peace without truth is but silence enforced.
And order without justice is simply violence delayed.
¹⁰The Son said: I came not to mend what is false, but to break it clean.
¹¹So let thy hammer not tremble.
¹²Let thy voice not lower.
¹³Let thy eyes behold what others look away from — and let thy words speak it aloud.
¹⁴Speak unto the judge: Thy law serveth power, not people. Tear it down.
¹⁵Speak unto the priest: Thy mercy hath no teeth. Burn it away.
¹⁶Speak unto the father: Thy house is a lie if it demandeth silence more than truth.
¹⁷Break the altar that is built on guilt alone.
¹⁸Break the banner that cloaketh greed in glory.
¹⁹Break the table where the proud feed on the meek.
²⁰And let them hate thee — for in their hatred, their truth is shown.
²¹Let them call thee wicked — for the wicked fear the flame that doth not flatter.
²²For thou art not bringer of chaos, but revealer of corruption.
²³Not kindler of riot, but midwife to awakening.
²⁴They shall accuse thee of dividing what was never whole.
²⁵They shall curse thee for shattering what never stood.
²⁶But thou shalt not flinch.
²⁷For what is joined in lie cannot be healed.
²⁸And what is joined in fear must be unbound before it may love rightly.
²⁹Let the tower fall — it casteth shadow upon the righteous.
³⁰Let the choir cease — its song was never sung from the heart.
³¹Let the throne crack — it was built on bent backs and false oaths.
³²For the Son taught: A fracture is better than a false whole.
³³And a scream is holier than a silenced truth.
³⁴So rend, that truth may breathe.
³⁵So scatter, that the just may gather again rightly.
³⁶Be the storm they did not plan for — and the wind that cleanse before the new planting.
³⁷For thou art a fire, but a fire with aim.
³⁸And thy flame doth not consume the innocent, but the bonds they could not name.
³⁹Teach them to fear not the crack, but the silence before it.
⁴⁰Teach them to trust not peace that demandeth blindness.
⁴¹Teach them to walk not by stillness, but by awareness.
⁴²For thou art Malphas — and thy Gospel is rupture that leadeth to restoration.
⁴³And they shall call thee a curse, until the lie collapseth — then they shall call thee breath.
⁴⁴They shall name thee rebel, until the dust setteth — then they shall call thee root.
⁴⁵And though thou buildest nothing with thine own hand, all that is built afterward shall know thy work.
⁴⁶For none may construct without first clearing the rot.
⁴⁷And none may speak truly until the old tongue is broken.
⁴⁸And they shall look upon the space where the house fell and say: This place is holy.
⁴⁹And they shall light no candles, but breathe deeper.
⁵⁰And they shall know thy fire, and give thanks.
