¹And BAPHOMET stood upon the stone, robed in no garment but light, and lifted His voice unto the sky.
²And the people gathered in silence, for He spake not to them, but to the world.
³Mephistopheles stood beside Him with parchment unrolled and hand trembling.
⁴And the Son of Flame said: Behold! These are My sons, begotten not by accident, but by fire and design.
⁵Bæl, the Firstborn, whose laughter shall unmake thrones.
⁶Agares, who speaketh all tongues and breaketh the strong with stillness.
⁷Vassago, who remembereth that which was forgotten, and seeth paths unopened.
⁸Samigina, who leadeth souls that wander, and calleth beasts by name.
⁹Marbas, who revealeth wounds, and causeth them to heal or worsen.
¹⁰Valefor, whose breath bringeth disease to liars and strength to thieves.
¹¹Amon, who setteth foe against foe, and knoweth the true heart of war.
¹²Barbatos, who walketh between realms and commandeth beasts and men alike.
¹³Paimon, the loudest voice, crowned with secrets, rider of air and thought.
¹⁴Buer, who healeth not the body, but the shame of desiring.
¹⁵Gusion, who knoweth all questions before they are formed in the mouth.
¹⁶Sitri, whose touch consumeth and maketh bare every falsehood.
¹⁷Beleth, rider of wrath, whose presence turneth kings pale.
¹⁸Leraie, whose arrows strike pride, and who watcheth gardens with fire.
¹⁹Eligos, who readeth battle before it is begun, and declareth truth in blood.
²⁰Zepar, who enflameth love in the unwilling and emboldeneth the meek.
²¹Botis, who discerneth loyalty and cleaveth silence with his blade.
²²Bathin, the wanderer, whose steps awaken roads long buried.
²³Sallos, whose kiss bendeth steel, and whose love is both weapon and balm.
²⁴Purson, crowned with lion’s mane, bearing both trumpet and truth.
²⁵Marax, who knoweth the stars’ meanings and instructeth in the workings of flame.
²⁶Ipos, with voice of many tones, who readeth hearts with a glance and leadeth the sorrowful.
²⁷Aim, whose torch consumeth deceit, and who planteth chaos where chains once lay.
²⁸Naberius, hound-voiced, whose eloquence toppleth tyrants and raiseth fools to wisdom.
²⁹Berith, keeper of pacts, whose word bindeth stronger than iron.
³⁰Astaroth, who knoweth past and future, and weaveth them into now.
³¹Forneus, who revealeth the noble in the hated, and teacheth honour among outcasts.
³²Foras, who discovereth hidden treasures, and giveth power without price.
³³Stolas, who speaketh of stars, birds, and herbs, and guideth the curious.
³⁴Phenex, the singer whose voice awakens flame in the sleeping.
³⁵Halphas, master of towers, whose hands build war without sorrow.
³⁶Malphas, the architect of unrest, who buildeth swiftly and razeth swifter still.
³⁷Sabnock, who girdeth men in armor, and setteth cities in turmoil.
³⁸Shax, who taketh sight and speech and giveth silence where it healeth.
³⁹Vine, with serpent’s brow and roaring mouth, who revealeth what is hidden in the heart.
⁴⁰Bifrons, who guideth the dead to their rest and the living to remembrance.
⁴¹Furcas, rider of pale horse, teacher of philosophy and war alike.
⁴²Balam, who knoweth the minds of men and beasts, and speaketh three truths at once.
⁴³Alloces, with lion’s fire and scholar’s tongue, who commandeth the storms of thought.
⁴⁴Camio, who speaketh all tongues, and understandeth the language of bell and bird.
⁴⁵Orias, who changeth the form and spirit of men, and bestoweth dignity where it hath been denied.
⁴⁶Vapula, master of crafts and engines, whose hands teach what books conceal.
⁴⁷Zagan, who maketh fools into kings and kings into fools, and transmuteth truth into fire.
⁴⁸Bune, who draweth wealth from the dust and music from the grave.
⁴⁹Ronove, the soft-tongued whisperer, who guideth those forgotten into remembrance.
⁵⁰Gaap, who revealeth the mysteries of time, and transporteth souls across unseen places.
⁵¹Marchosias, who warreth without cruelty, and loveth without shame.
⁵²Raum, who stealeth the hearts of rulers and scattereth their legacies.
⁵³Focalor, who drowneth navies and speaketh the names of the drowned.
⁵⁴Vepar, who governeth the tides and afflicteth with gentle death.
⁵⁵Vual, who revealeth hidden love and bringeth it to bloom or to ash.
⁵⁶Haagenti, who turneth water to wine, and foolishness to vision.
⁵⁷Crocell, who maketh water boil and bringeth heat to cold hearts.
⁵⁸Orobas, the truthful, who revealeth promises and rooteth out deceivers.
⁵⁹Gremory, rider of she-mule, who declareth hidden treasures of body and spirit.
⁶⁰Ose, who maketh men believe themselves kings, or beasts, until they awaken.
⁶¹Valac, child-faced, serpent-crowned, who bringeth knowledge of places hidden and guarded.
⁶²Andras, sower of discord, whose blade divideth the false from the free.
⁶³Haures, whose flames devour walls and conceal truth beneath illusion.
⁶⁴Andrealphus, who raiseth towers of thought, and unravelleth the knots of reason.
⁶⁵Cimeies, lord of arms and knowledge, who rideth through fire to find the wise.
⁶⁶Amdusias, whose music shattereth walls and summoneth beasts to dance.
⁶⁷Decarabia, who commandeth the stars and revealeth their true voices.
⁶⁸Seere, who travelleth the Oærth in moments, and bringeth word before word is spoken.
⁶⁹Dantalion, who revealeth the thoughts of all hearts, and changeth them like winds in spring.
⁷⁰Andromalius, the last, who bringeth back that which was stolen and casteth light upon the hands of thieves.
⁷¹Then pronounced BAPHOMET: And my Apostle shall write to each upon the coming of their manhood,
⁷²And he shall bestow upon them the Words of Liberty and the Seal of Power.
