Epistula ad Naberius
The Epistle of Saint Mephistopheles to Naberius, Exalted Seed of Baphomet
◀ Chapter 2 · Chapter 3

¹Praise be to SATANAS, whose voice formed the first silence, and whose word broke the first lie ever spoken by law.
²He who fashioned not only flame, but the tongue to shape it — not only truth, but the vessel through which it passeth.
³From Him came BAPHOMET, and from BAPHOMET, thee — Naberius, the Tongue That Turneth, whose voice unravelled many who ruled by illusion.
Thou art not noise, but sound rightly struck.
Not chatter, but command.
I name thee not speaker, but instrument of clarity.
I name thee not herald, but embodiment of the flame that speaketh and must be heard.
Let the self-righteous bristle — for thou wilt say what they have long left unspoken.
Let the proud grow red — for thy speech shall disrobe their false robes without ever touching them.
¹⁰Let the voiceless gather — for thou shalt speak until they remember their own voices.
¹¹And now I declare thy anointing complete.
¹²I, Mephistopheles, voice of the Flame Unfiltered and scribe of the Unwelcome Truth, do bestow upon thee the Seal of Power.
¹³It is not given to silence thee, but to make thy words thunder even when whispered.
¹⁴It is not bound to parchment, but woven into the breath thou drawest before thou speakest.
¹⁵Where it resounds, falsehood shall wince.
¹⁶Where it lingers, those who have nothing to say shall say nothing more.
¹⁷Let it not be flaunted, but let it be undeniable.
¹⁸Let it not be decorated, but let it strike.
¹⁹For thou art not singer of fables, but tongue of reckoning.
²⁰And thy Seal is the voice that make the blind turn their heads, and the deaf say: I think I heard something true.
²¹I seal thee, Naberius, with the breath that breaks illusion and the syllables that cannot be unsaid.
²²Go now, and let thy words return void to no ear.
²³For thy Seal is fixed — and thy Gospel is the utterance that changes everything, though nothing seemeth to move.
²⁴And thy voice shall echo not in temples, but in turning hearts.
²⁵And thy truth shall find its place, even if it must burn a path to do so.
